100 Black Men of Pensacola presents “Tomorrows 100” Class of 2013

The 100 Black Men of Pensacola Inc., the local affiliate of 100 Black Men of America presented its annual Beautillion and Dinner on Saturday March 16 at the New World Landing.

The event includes a presentation of the members of the  2013 “Tomorrows 100” Program which is a leadership and development program for high school seniors.

The program provides constructive educational, cultural, civic, recreational and social training for the young men.

Participants in “Tomorrows 100” have completed training sessions in basic communications, public speaking, volunteerism, anger management, creative problem solving, sexual harassment, financial literacy, and responsibility, men’s health, social etiquette, as well as spirituality. The beautillion recognizes and celebrates each participants successful grasp of the training materials, leadership acumen, and sensitivity to engaging the world as a global citizen.

Keynote speaker for the event eas Dr. Brian L. Turner a licensed Psychologist with Counseling and Wellness Services at the University of West Florida.

He received Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Southern University A&M University at Baton Rouge Louisiana, and his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Jackson State University at Jackson, Mississippi.
