Pink, Pink and more Pink, Saturday night, the Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc Sorority and over 500 guests partied the night away in pink attire at the beginning of their weekend event titled “Pink in the City”.
The event given on behalf of Breast Cancer month to honor the survivors as well as pay tribute to the fallen from this horrible disease. Mammie Hixon, Chairman of the event, graced the occasion with a lovely pink off
the shoulder ensemble while the guests did their best to raise monies for breast cancer during the evening.

Sunday everyone was asked to wear pink at their local churches.
The Pink the City weekend closed out Sunday afternoon with soul food “Pink Sunday” for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser at Osceola Chief’s Bar and Grill.
This event set an attendance crowd with nearly 90 supporters in the house.
There were 66 guests who wore pink raising $66 for the MSABC fundraiser.
