Panama City was the place to be as the Seabreeze Jazz festival kicked off its 15th year of giving a grand deliverance of pure adrenaline-charged jazz.
Wednesday, April 7th began with a smooth jazz dinner cruise presented by Resort Quest featuring Brian Culbertson. From there, the party began.
Thursday, at 1pm a Kickoff Jazz Jam Street party with wine tasting featuring Brian Lenair, The Peet Project, The Mowtown Jazz Jam with Yancyy, Dave McMurray, Rayse Biggs, Paul Dozier, Williams Pope, Al McKenzie, and Kali Douglas.
Friday, evening even the rain didn’t stop the show as Ken Ford, Tim Bowman and Fourplaytook the stage. Only the brave stayed through the storm and 17 degree weather.
Saturday and Sunday brought sunshine, great music, good food and good people together to enjoy artists such as Peter White, Average White Band, Joey Sommerville, Michael Ward, Eric Essix, Karen Briggs, Gail Johnson, Tower of Power and Yancyy just to name a few.
The event was officially sold out Saturday afternoon.
This was an event that definitely made next year a year to look forward to.
