Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church Celebrates their Ushers Anniversary
“Let brotherly love continue. Be not fretful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Tuesday evening the Senior Usher Board celebrated their 76th anniversary in conjunction with the Young Men’s Usher Board 24th Year Anniversary.
Guest Church for the evening was Greater Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
Mistress of Order was Sister Jeanetta Watson of Greater Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
The evening of worship began as the Greater Morning Star Deacons and visiting Deacons led the devotion. As the processional began, Ushers dressed in white attire marched in to “Walk with me Lord” and the audience stood in acknowledgement.
Mt. Sinai MBC Fellowship Choir sang a selection entitled “Goodbye World I’m Going Home” followed by a ‘Welcome’ from Bro. Rasean Thompson.
As the evening progressed, it was apparent that the Holy Spirit was in the house as praise and worship gave God the glory.
Elder Cynthia Brown of Deliverance Tabernacle Christian Center gave the occasion and recognition of Ushers. Also, there was recognition of Ushers that had gone home to Glory.
Brother Johnnie Turner sang a special tribute song “So Many Times the Lord Made a Way for Me” and Prophetess Edwena Watts of Sabathani Missionary Baptist Church sang a heartfelt solo.
Pastor Lonnie D. Wesley of Greater Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church delivered the message to the worshipers.
