Freewill Ministries held its 16th annual Christian Debutante Affair April 18 at the Sanders Beach-Corrine Jones Community Center.
Introducing nine debutantes into society, the theme was “I Rock; because I’m standing on the rock. As the young ladies were escorted, they gathered together to perform a praise and ballroom dance. Their performances were choreographed by Lakeisha Williams, Paul Jones, Jr. and Norvene Elmore. Mistress of ceremony for the occasion was Patricia Hartley from Pensacola’s The Hill in the Morning Show on FM106.9.
Sharon D. Jones is the president and the founder of the Phenomenal Women Cotillion which is also hosted by her husband Bishop Paul L. Jones, Sr.
Lady Jones takes the time to mentor each debutante by identifying their hidden skills, abilities, and talents.
As guests were delighted by a melody of praise from Crystal Hebert, the presentation of a scholarship was awarded by Lady Gloria Gatson, founder of Parents of Purpose, Emmaus Kidz and Emmaus Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida.
The purpose of the Phenomenal Women program is to strive for spiritual excellence which goes hand in hand with playing a positive role in today’s society. Together Lady Sharon D. Jones and Bishop Paul L. Jones, Sr. look forward to presenting the 17th annual Christian Debutante Affair and many more.
