Wedgewood Community Hosts Stop the Violence Campaign
Saturday morning residents and community friends gathered at Marie Young Park to get the word out regarding stopping the violence in our community.
Poets, rappers, musicians, singers and politicians were on hand to give their assistance to increase awareness of the violence that is occurring in the Escambia County community.
Captain David Alexander of the Pensacola Police Department was on hand speaking giving out information to help curb an ongoing problem.
In the past, Escambia County has rated number 1 in the nation for violent crime for a community our size.
