Tuesday night, July 7, 2015, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers, I personally witnessed an amazing sight; as far as the eye could see in the pews lining the walls were people of every color, of every age; city and county residents; social, civic, faith-based and political parties: we were all on one accord.
The Village was well represented.
The sea of color was beautiful.
Let it no longer be said that we don’t care.
Let it no longer be said that we can’t work together
Let it no longer be said that no one in the Village will answer the call for action.
The word went forth, not by just one group, We did it together by phone, e-mail, text, Facebook, website, Instagram, and twitter.
Tuesday night just proved that social media can be a positive form of communication
I love my Village Family; we truly are Family; and no one was left behind.
