After winning the season opener against Seacoast Academy, the Tigers of PHS have only won one out of the next their next six games. The Tigers lost twice to Catholic High by scores of 14-1 and 16-4, losing to Gainesville High 15-3 and Newberry High 11-5, both games in Gainesville Florida, dropping a tough game to the Washington wildcats 7-5, and then defeating Seacoast Academy 15-4.

Pensacola High’s leading scorers continue to be Nehemiah Jones and first year player senior, Tristan Wu. Opponents have yet to shut these players down. Both are fierce on attacking the goal and scooping up the ground balls, leading the Tigers in goals, shot attempts, assists, and groundballs picked up.

The Tigers have 23 first year players on the roster of 33, and inexperience has been prevalent in each game.

The Tigers play West Florida Tech Wednesday, March 9, at the Woodham Stadium at 6:30 PM, and play Escambia High Friday March 11 at the Tigers Stadium 6:00 PM
