Saturday, April 23, 2016 –  9:00am – 2:00pm – 2016 Back to our Roots Education Jamboree & College Fair – Escambia High School Gym -310 North 65TH Ave, Pensacola. Parking on the Lillian Hwy side/football/baseball area.  The event is open to all high school students. Participants: FAMU, Bethune-Cookman University, Bishop State College, Grambling State University, Miles College, Selma University, Southern University at New Orleans, Wilberforce University, Concordia College – Selma.  Alumni Organization: Alabama State University; activities throughout the event, prizes for students include $25 gift cards. Saturday, April 23, 2016 – 10:00am – 1:00pm – #Connected Resource Fair – For middle HS school students wanting to explore post-secondary options. Saturday, April 30, 2016 – 9:00am – Rev Up Your Engines – 3rd Annual Motorcycle Ride – To support Project SEARCH program. Location: 2323 Copter Road, Pensacola.  Project SEARCH is business-led vocational program for young adults with disabilities and the goal is to train them for paid employment and teach them to be productive and independent members in society.
