Six young women, ranging in age from 15 to 18, will soon primp and prepare themselves for a beautiful evening – one of the most unforgettable moments of any girl’s life: the night of her debutante cotillion. The upcoming 17th annual Phenomenal Women Debutante Cotillion serves as each young woman’s own “night with the King,” the moment when she will dress in a gorgeous white ball gown to present herself before God and witnesses of family members and friends to make a personal commitment to remain a virtuous woman. The Christian cotillion will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, in the Destiny Life Center of Freewill Ministries, 836 W. Michigan Ave., in Pensacola.
Tickets are still available for the formal affair and may be purchased for $35.00 per person by calling (850) 494-2442.
The program is sponsored by The Phenomenal Women of Freewill Ministries Inc. Its purpose is to train young women in the path of righteousness, public speaking, college success, social grace, community outreach, peer interaction, sex abstinence and much more.
Over the 17-year life of the Phenomenal Women Debutante Program, Sharon D. Jones, founder and president, has witnessed hundreds of young women make the same commitment as these six young women “in waiting” will make as the month of May begins. Her goal is to continually mentor the young women by identifying their hidden skills, abilities, and talents.
