Kirk “Coach Bru” Broussard is bringing his football experience back to where it all began, Pensacola, Florida.
The former Buffalo Bills coaching staff member will host his one-day camp on August 6 at the Roger Scott Complex. Coach Bru is excited to bring his exceptional football journey back to Pensacola, where he excelled in football and track at Washington High.
Kids age 6-15 can be registered online for $49. Walk-up registration is $59 and will begin at 9 AM on the day of the camp. The camp starts at 10 AM, and will run to 3:30 in the afternoon. The day will include NFL-style drills, skills challenges, 7-on-7 team play, and speeches from Coach Bru and a special guest.
There are a limited 100 spots for athletes in the area who wish to improve their skills and move on to higher levels of football. Players will receive professional coaching instruction from Coach Broussard and his staff, engages in high-quality drills, and improve overall athleticism.
Coach Bru is a master of coaching, and has vast knowledge of football. He most recently had the opportunity to coach at the NFL level for the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit lions. He has worked successfully in a variety of coaching and management positions in the NFL, Arena football leagues, and junior college.
Broussard emphasizes hard work, and dedication. He knows what it takes to make it to the highest level. His dream once when he was sleeping in his car homeless was to make it to the NFL. He realized that dream after years of discipline, and now is passionate about teaching youth to have that same drive in football, and in life.
