PENSACOLA, FL – For the first networking event that begins the fourth year, the Pensacola
Network, a monthly event that connects community members, business leaders and public
officials to strengthen relationships, will highlight progressive community development. The
special guest for the event is Doug Brown, executive director of Community Action Program
Committee, an agency established to assist individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency.
The networking event is free and open to the public on Friday, August 26, 2016, 5:00 – 8:00 pm,
at DeVilliers Square, 321 N. DeVilliers Street, in Pensacola.
“As we move into our fourth year, it’s important that we continue to share the vast community
resources that ensure our neighbors, communities, and business progress positively,” said Lloyd
Reshard, the event organizer and CEO of Cognitive Big Data Systems. Reshard said that
opportunities to connect with forward-thinking leaders is one of the keys that makes the
Pensacola Network successful. “They reveal their inner most thoughts on their successes and
challenges and this helps all of us realize the value in different thoughts and ideas for our area’s
growth,” said Reshard.

About the Pensacola Network: The Pensacola Network is a monthly networking event aimed at
connecting people and strengthening relationships. Started in 2013, the event is held monthly in
Historic Belmont DeVilliers on the fourth Friday and is free and open to the public. Since its
inception, over 3,000 people have participated in the networking.
