Pensacola was honored to have a Stellar award winner and Grammy nominee in our midst Friday, October 14, 2016. None other than Bishop Marvin Winans visited our city for a “Night of Empowerment” at Englewood Baptist Church, where Pastors Larry Watson Sr. and Larry Watson, Jr. preside.
Bishop Winans, although well known as a gospel artist, he is also a phenomenal Pastor. He is the founder of Perfecting Church in Detroit, Mi.
“The Night of Empowerment” message was “I Can Do That”. Bishop Winans spoke of the power and authority that we have to come against the opposition in this present world. This message was so befitting, especially with one of the most challenging Presidential Elections only three weeks away.
His message was well received by all in attendance and they also had the pleasure of listening to him sing a few songs as an added blessing.
Also on the program were the Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir, the Pensacola Tiger Elite Praise Dancers as well as Englewood’s own Praise Team.
The event was a night of Praise, Worship, and Empowerment and the City were blessed to have experienced Bishop Winans break the bread of life in our city.
