Christian Stanley presents his 1st Place Escambia County History Fair Individual Performance of “Mr. John Sunday, Jr., the Richest African American Man in the South” to the Escambia County School Board 2/21/2017. Christian, a 5th grader at A.K. Suter Elementary, received a standing ovation for his performance.  A native of Pensacola, Mr. Sunday was an entrepreneur who lived from 1865 – 1938. His home was demolished last summer amidst much controversy. Christian will perform again during the Transition Foundation Black History Month event to be held Monday, 2/27/2017, at Voices of Pensacola (117 E. Government St.) at 6:00 pm.
