The Chariots of Pensacola Christian Motorcycle Club hosted their 4th Annual Gospel Explosion Concert Saturday night at Englewood Baptist Church.

This yearly event as in previous years presented talent in gospel music that was totally outstanding.  No exceptions.  Following devotion, a tribute was paid to Chariot Bro. David Lee who passed to Glory in Jan 2014.

Rev. John Powell of Truth for Youth then stepped into the pulpit as Master of Ceremonies.

Throughout the evening, Rev. Powell kept the crowd of approximately 250+ well entertained with anecdotes of praise & worship interspersed with personal notes.

What followed was spiritual uplifting in praise and song from R Bless, the Point Baptist Church Praise Team, The English Bros, who performed even through a loss, and the Spiritual Kings involving lively renditions by Pastor Thomas of St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Following the intermission, Msg. Sharvin Moorer & Atmosphere Worship and 11 y/o Songstress Hannah Moorer gave an exceptional rendition of “A Little More Jesus” that kept the crowd lively and on its feet.

Finally John Jackson & Element of Praise led into the evening’s final act, the Perryman Sisters of Mobile, Al.

These acts combined with vendor supplied treats, photos, trinkets and the Chariots’ customary eats made for a well

rounded and spirit filled evening of praise and worship.

This event is becoming a staple of the Pensacola Black community and The Chariots plan to continue spreading the Gospel for many years.
