Greater Union holds Weekend Celebration

Rev. Thompson

Beginning Saturday evening with the Gospel Concert featuring artists, such as The Gents of Pensacola, Pastor Rodney Lindsey and the Southern Boys of Pensacola, Pastor Michael Thompson & The Chosen Vessel of Selma Alabama and Helen Miller, Gospel recording artist, the sanctuary holy rocked as each group sang and brought Glory to
God.

Rev. Yates

Greater Union Praise team opened the gates with their soul stirring praise dance that ushered in His Holy Spirit. From that point on, it was apparent that the atmosphere was on one accord with God’s holy plan.

As the audience stood, praised and worshipped it was truly a Holy Ghost Party. Each group sang high praise to the Holy one of God.
Even as Gospel Recording Artist Helen Miller took to the stage, she too felt the anointing of the Holy Ghost and flowed in the spirit.
And it wasn’t over. Sunday morning, the celebration continued with the Fifth year Pastoral appreciation of Reverend Dr. Michael A Thompson, Sr where Dr. T. L. Lewis, Pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church delivered the Word of God.

Sunday afternoon heated up as the celebration continued as Elder Bernard C Yates, Senior Pastor of the Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church and President of the National Primitive Baptist Convention and USA Moderator of the Mount Zion West Florida/South Alabama District Association brought the house down with the Word of God. His subject for the occasion was “Stay Focused.”

Pulpit conductor for the afternoon was Elder Carl E. Reeves, Pastor of the Greater Mount Lily Baptist Church, Pensacola, Florida.
