Mothers Are Treated to Jazz at It’s Personal

Sunday afternoon Jazz Saxophonist Ellie Michelle entertained mothers, grandmothers, sister, aunts and their friends and spouses at Its Personal Venue by Shelia’s.

The event began at 3:30 with Ms. Michelle playing the latest in Jazz and a little R&B.  Backed by Entrigue Band and singers Nielah Spears, and Kevin (Kebo) Wilson, the group gave a dynamic performance that had everyone moving and dancing to the funky beat.

To enhance the occasion a delicious dinner of baked chicken, ham, collard greens, field peas, dressing, candied yams and various desserts was served to a crowd of approximately 100 people.

“Shelia Greene of Shelia’s Its Personal stated “This is just one of many events we have planned for you.  We are already gearing up for Father’s Day.  Make sure you get your tickets in advance because we won’t be selling tickets at the door.”

Guest artist for the Father’s Day Affair will be Phillip Jazz Dad Thomas and the Jazz Trio.
