Par Four Charities Golf Team played an extraordinary game for the 8th Annual Sacred Heart Cathedral School Golf Classic Saturday, March 22, 2014.
The event was held at the Osceola Golf Course and presented by Woodlands Medical Specialist and Thomas J. Fitzgerald, M.D., Ph. D. Coming in first place in the tournament included the following members of Par Four: Billy Brent, Kenneth Spence, Pete Strong, and Bill Johnson.
The team dedicated their winning game in honor of David Black who was a well known golf enthusiast in the community of Pensacola, Florida. Over all the team scored 53 points on a Par 70 of the golf course. The first hole-in-one made on the designated Par 3 wins prize was $10,000.00.
All proceeds from the game were donated to Sacred Heart Cathedral School which is celebrating over 106 years of academic excellence, focusing on faith, and service to the community. In addition to the fundraiser, the majority of the members from Par Four Charities Golf Team also donated their prizes to The First Tee of Northwest Florida which is a golf development and after school program for the youth.
