Second Liners Celebrate with Mardi-Gras Champagne Brunch

Sunday morning over 1200 guests from as far away as California attended the ninth Second Liner Champagne Brunch held at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The champagne brunch was a culmination of activities that began Thursday night with a gathering for the members continuing  Friday night with a King and Queens  Party.  “Saturday we had our parade that traveled throughout Ward 2,” said Pinky Lewis, publicist for the organization.

The organization actually began with a small parade around the neighborhood with bicycles, wagons and people walking and has grown to the magnitude it is today. “We are a 501c3 and a charitable organization that believes in giving back to the community,” said Lewis.  “We visit nursing homes, give to the needy and answer the call when other organizations need help.”
