Tuesday evening Vice Chairman and District 3 Commissioner Lumon May hosted a Town Hall meeting at the Brownsville Community Center, to provide citizens the opportunity to participate in honest conversation with their elected officials on vital issues.
Guests included City of Pensacola District 7 Council Member Jewel Cannada-Wynn, Pensacola City Council President Gerald Wingate, Escambia School Board District 3 Representative Lee Hansen, Emerald Coast Utilities Authority District 3 Representative Elvin McCorvey, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Chip Simmons, Escambia County First Judicial Circuit Court Judge Thomas V. Dannheisser, Escambia County Judge Joyce H. Williams, Escambia County School District Superintendent Malcolm Thomas, Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David Stafford and Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford.
The audience had the opportunity to write their questions, addressed to the representative intended. Question and answer also was given after the town meeting for citizens to actually have a one on one conversation with their desired candidate.
